Frontier Airlines announces three new non-stop destinations from CVG, beginning this spring”

Service will operate three times a week, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday starting on May 16, 2017 using 180-seat A320 aircraft.

Frontier Airlines will begin operating flights between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and both Washington-Dulles and San Diego International Airports in April. Flights will run Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. The Austin to Washington-Dulles flights begin April 24, and will operate Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, officials said.

Houston, May 22, with service on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

The new routes, which will be scheduled for a few times a week, are scheduled to begin in April and May, depending on the destination, and include discounted introductory fares. Tickets went on sale this morning.

The low-priced carrier will have approximately 93 weekly flights out of the airport, which is almost double the number of weekly flights Frontier had past year at this time.

Frontier, known in industry as an ultra-low cost carrier, has been on a growth spurt in Cleveland, adding eight new destinations in the past year (one of those destinations, Philadelphia, has since been discontinued). In Cincinnati, Frontier is adding nonstop flights to San Diego, Minneapolis and New York LaGuardia. "This success would not have been possible without the support of the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky community".
