Sprint Offering 5 Lines of Unlimited Data for $90 Per Month

Sprint Offering 5 Lines of Unlimited Data for $90 Per Month”

Verizon Communications (VZ) on Monday will bring back unlimited wireless data plans, just three days after Sprint (S) undercut T-Mobile US (TMUS) pricing for unlimited data family plans, as wireless industry competition intensifies. If you're now on an unlimited plan with AT&T, you could save up to $180/month when you switch five lines to Sprint.

As with most offers by mobile carriers in the United States, there is a catch: the deal is only valid for a year, and Sprint will, presumably, apply the same data caps that are in place for its Unlimited Freedom subscribers. Verizon no longer even offers the opportunity to sign up for unlimited data - so now is your chance to get out of your old, expensive plan and save money with Sprint. The cost will go to Dollars 90 for two lines, with the third, fourth and fifth given free. After that point, you will pay $60 per month for the first line, and lines 2 through 5 will each set you back an additional $30 per month taking the total cost to $180 per month.

Sprint announced its new plan on February 10 and it will entitle the carrier's subscribers to plenty of benefits. With Sprint's offering, no matter how sweet it looks, there is a downside. The offer will only be available until end March. The second line will cost $40 per month. Mobile optimized: video streams at up to 480p+ resolution, music at up to 500kbps, gaming at up to 2Mbps.

At the start of this unlimited plan, Sprint confirmed that it will be charging $50 per month for those who want the plan.

"Sprint understands the value of unlimited data to our customers", said Roger Solé, Sprint chief marketing officer. "So why not use your wireless device to its full potential to enjoy things you love like Snapchat, social media, Twitter, watching video, texting and calling - all on our highly reliable network".
