Pokemon GO Adds 80 Johto Pokemon, New Evolutions This Week”

Either way, it's certainly welcome news that Niantic has finally got round to releasing a big update for the game, that will hopefully reignite interest.

Two new items are being added to Pokemon Go this week: Nanab Berries and Pinap Berries. If you were planning on playing again, now it may be a good time to return to Pokemon GO.

There are more than 150 Pokemon to catch, and the new one will definitely entice trainers to refresh their memories. The update will add more than 80 new Pokemon from Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver. This is the main incentive of the update, as there were many players waiting for the arrival of more Pokémon to capture. A recent report revealed that Niantic will be releasing over 80 Gen 2 Pokemon to the game later this week. Evidently, there's still a hardcore group of players out there who are still addicted and still wandering the streets to pick up Pokemon. The Nanab berry makes Pokemon slower and easier to catch while the Pinap berry doubles the amount of candy you receive. All you need to do is walk around your city or your neighborhood to catch Pokemon.

Catching and running into the same type of Pokemon over and over wasn't very fun. Be on the look out for this new update later this week. The encounters UI will also be getting some love, with some new item carousels that allow you to choose Poke Balls and berries on-the-fly without opening any additional menus.
