Park: Giraffe stream taken off Youtube for 'nudity & sexual content'”

In the last 12 hours, 20 to 30 million people have tuned in to the Animal Adventure Park YouTube page to watch April the 15-year-old giraffe as she prepares to give birth to a baby calf.

The Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, New York, is live streaming video from April's enclosure. The Giraffe Conservation Foundation says the average gestation period for a giraffe is about 15 months. Then he took to Facebook Live to make his own statement, telling viewers the people who filed the phony complaint are "why we can't have nice things".

"They reported our YouTube cam as sexually explicit, containing nude content which made for its removal on YouTube". They said "Animal Rights Extremists" were responsible.

"Upset Youtube has suspended the LIVE FEED for nudity & sexual content? We're further harming the species of giraffes".

The calf will weigh around 150 pounds and be about 6 feet tall at birth.

This is April's fourth baby and the park is also expected to host a contest deciding the name of the calf after it is born.

An upstate NY zoo's livestream of a pregnant giraffe abruptly ended after activists complained that the video contained nudity and sexual content.
